Jordan at his mission conference
Dear Family and Friends,
Well we had transfers and my companion got transferred, and I was made senior companion. My companion’s name is Elder Pereira, he has only been out for two months, one transfer, so I have the responsibility to help him learn more. I am excited with this change and am a little scared and nervous, but I know that when I rely on the Lord I can do anything. We are going to have a baptism this Sunday. He is a man of 22 years. He is a brother to a new member. We have been teaching him for two weeks. We had a mission conference yesterday, that is why are p-day is today. The conference was fantastic. I learned a lot. The President told us that we needed to learn more about the Savior and love the people like he did. And we need to work HARD!!! I am excited to learn more and to work hard. This area has potential and I will use it. We (our district from the MTC) got a picture together. I finally got to talk with my comp from the MTC. It was a great experience to see them again and speak in Portuguese with them like we always talked about in the MTC. It turns out that I can actually speak Portuguese well. This past week went well and I am excited for our baptism. This will be my first baptism where I helped from the start to the finish and actually talked with the investigator. This week will be difficult but we only can see our fruits after we go through or difficulties. I am loving the mission and am excited to learn a lot this transfer... Any advice you all have I will take it.... I love you ALLL!!!!
