Soccer Game

Dustin had his first home game on Thursday they lost 1-2 against West Valley. Last week they lost in the shoot out because the game was tied. Dustin plays defense.

 

 

The ground is sinking

Last week we found this hole around our well head. Where did the dirt go? Quite the mystery. We haven't checked to see if our well still works. Luckily we use Dad's well across the field. This is our emergency water, Jim bought and installed a hand pump last fall.

 

Wrestling Award Night

William lettered in wrestling this year. This is the first time William has lettered in a sport. He fisnished what he started and received a great reward. They had their awards banquet last night. William earned a District pin and a pin for pinning someone in a match.

Dustin received the Captain award along with three of his friends. These four Seniors were a great influence on the team. Dustin also received the Coaches award. He earned a District pin, Regional pin, State pin and 14 regular pins this season. All the seniors were ask to speak at the end of the program. It was a long but good evening.

New Van

James called on Friday and asked if Jim could come to Spokane and look at a used Honda Odyssey. Jim and I went and they got a great deal and Audra drove home in their new mini van. Jim and I went to their house for a while and played with the children.

William's 17th Birthday

William celebrated his birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Divis, Tabatha, Travis, Sophie, Isaac, and the missionaries. We had 4 different kinds of pizza, bread sticks, cheesy bread and finger jello. We had angel food cake and ice cream for dessert.

Little Snow Storm

Saturday was one of those weird weather days. We had sunshine with clear blue skies one minute and then the clouds would come it and snow like crazy then the clouds would leave and the sun would come out again. It did this at least twice.

Elder Jordan Divis

Jordan is in the Campinas Brazil Mission, he is serving near Campinas with his companion Elder Harper. They just had transfers and Jordan is still with Elder Harper. They have become best friends and are enjoying their time together. They have made a goal to baptize 10 people this month. He is enjoying his mission and would like time to slow down. He will be returning this August.

Makayla's Birthday

James, Audra and family came to visit Sunday afternoon. We celebrated Makayla's 2nd birthday which was Thursday the 26th. Grandma and Grandpa came over and we had a great time.

I held Evan as much as possible.
