Silverwood

Dustin, William and I went to Silverwood with Dave's Family to celebrate Nicole's birthday. We had a great time. They spent the night at the RV park and we headed home. We returned just before midnight.

After Shock is the new rollercoaster ride at Silverwood. You travel through the tracks and then you go backwards on the tracks back to the beginning.This ride was the favorite of the day. Annette and Judith got the front row seats.

Some of the kids went to Boulder Beach for about an hour and had a great time on the watersides.

I had a wonderful time. I planned on just relaxing on the beach so I didn't bring my swimsuit. I changed my mind and went out on a wave runner with Sherri fully dressed. I came back soaking wet but had a great time racing through the waves. The weather was windy so the water was choppy. It made great water for jumping across the lake. Dustin planned the beach party for part of his Communications merit badge. I am looking forward to another fun day with the family.

Re-shingle Grandpa's Roof

Jeff is visiting from Missouri and has extended his visit to re-shingling Grandpa's roof. He has been a great asset this past week. Dustin and William are helping him when needed.

Girl's Camp

I went to Camp Na-bor-lee for girls camp Monday through Friday. The weather was great and I had a wonderful time getting to know the Young Women.

Jim did not have to work Friday so he and the boys worked on moving dirt and removing unwanted rocks. Jim had a great time on the tractor. Dustin leveled the dirt and William raked the rocks out.

 

 

 

 

4th of July Vacation

Dustin, William, Jim and I went to Dave and Annette's on the 4th of July. We arrived at noon and had a great barbecue with them and a few of their neighbors. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and a movie while Annette and I watched the fireworks.
Saturday morning we went to Tacoma and walked around the display of the Tall Ships. We toured the Coast Guard ship and went through the museum. The ship Bounty was there from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean and Captain Jack Sparrow.
Sunday we visited and enjoyed each other's company.
Monday Jennifer, Nicole, Heidi and Judith left for girls' camp at 5 o’clock in the morning. Annette was the driver and brought back a list of things they forgot so Dave could bring them when he comes to do security Monday night. We left Dave's just after 10 o’clock and went to Snoqualmie Falls. We hiked around and took pictures of the boys. We hope to get some good ones for Dustin's senior pictures. After they were tired of getting their picture taken we went to the North Bend outlet stores. Dustin found some cool shoes, swim suit and belt. William got a swim suit and belt also. We had a good trip home. The boys slept most of the way. We arrived home just after 8 o’clock.
