Dustin's Mission Call
Dustin received his mission call in the mail on Thursday March 11. He left work at 1:30 and drove home to open his call. Jordan, James and Dad were on the phone and I was holding the phone while Dustin opened the call. He is going to Peru Lima North Mission. He will report to the Provo MTC on July 21st. He headed back to Spokane a couple hours later but will return home tomorrow to get his passport pictures and paperwork started.
William's Birthday
We had Grandma and Grandpa Divis over for dinner and cake and ice cream on William's Birthday(March 9th)He opened presents and after everyone left he choose to watch TV.
Wednesday March 10th William had his friends over for a movie, pizza, cake and ice cream. They were out of school at noon so they all came over just after noon. They watched "The Illusionist" ate 5 pizza's and dessert. Some stayed and shot scenes for a movie which was due on Friday. William really enjoyed the movie making.

We went to Jordan and Mariah's apartment on Mariah's birthday(March 6th). We made pizza and had cupcakes and ice cream. Mariah also made an Italian custard that was very yummy.

Babysitting Gavin
Trissa ask me to take care of Gavin while she and John went to Hawaii for your 25th birthday.
Jim drove me to the airport to catch the early flight to Denver on Friday the 26th of February. Trissa came and picked me up and we went shopping and then home to finish packing. We drove back to the airport for our 3:00 flight to Salt Lake. Trissa helped Gavin and I get settled on the plane and then she boarded her flight to Los Angeles. Gavin and I arrived in Salt Lake at 4:30 and Laura and Kendra came to pick us up. We spent the night with Laura and Craig. We had fun playing with Kendra. Gavin would lay on the floor on Kendra's blanket and then climb into Laura's lap. He wanted to do everything Kendra did. Gavin slept in Kendra's room with her. I heard Gavin talking at 5:00 am and went to get him when I heard Kendra talking back to him. I decided not to go in. Laura also heard them and she went in and took Kendra out of the room and fed her. Gavin went back to sleep after a while and slept until 8:30.
Saturday my parent came and got us around 11:30am. We drove to Orem and attended a baby shower. Gavin was really good and sat on my lap the whole time. We then went home and got out some toys for Gavin. We tried to child proof the living room and I sat on the floor and played with Gavin. While Gavin is awake you have to watch him every second. Lyn came to visit for a little while after Gavin had gone to bed.
Sunday we got up early and got ready for church. Everyone thought Gavin was my son, not my grandson. He was very good for all of the meetings. Jeremy and Cory came over for an early dinner. It was good to see them.
Monday I helped my dad organize his picture files on his computer. Today is his 79th birthday. Lyn, Lyle, Tiffany and Cameron came for birthday dinner. Laura, Craig and Kendra also came. We ate some wonderful food and had ice cream cake for dessert. Gavin and I went home with Laura and Craig. Gavin fell asleep on the long ride home and I was able to lay him down in his bed when we arrived. We decided to sleep him in another room so he wouldn't wake Kendra up.
Tuesday I watched Kendra and Gavin while Laura went for a 3 mile run. Then we went to Walmart shopping. Gavin went down for a nap and I went upstairs to Laura's Aunt and she gave me a perm and cut my hair. Gavin slept the whole time. He woke up just as I was getting done. He didn't get to bed until 10:00 because of his late nap.
I got up at 6:00 to get ready before Gavin woke up. He was up by 7:30 and I got him fed and ready to go. Laura and Kendra took us to the airport for our 10:30 flight. Gavin fell asleep before the plane took off. He slept until the pilot's voice woke him up just before our decent into Denver. We arrived before noon and Trissa came and picked us up. She and John had arrived home at 9:00am. Gavin was happy to see his mom and dad. He wouldn't let Trissa out of his sight. Trissa had to work at 4:00 so I went back to the airport with her. I waited at the airport for my flight, which left at 7:15pm. I arrive in Spokane at 8:30 and Jim was there to pick me up. We drove home and arrived just before 10:00pm.
Up at 5:00 and out the door by 5:45 to teach seminary. The days are getting longer. It wasn't completely dark when I left for seminary. I can only enjoy it for a week. The clocks will change next Sunday.
