Disney World 2012

Jim and I flew to Orlando Florida Saturday January 28th. We rented a car and went to Walmart to purchase our Walt Disney World tickets and get some food for the weekend. We enjoyed a good nights sleep and arose at 6:00am. We got ready and headed to church for a 9:00 meeting only to find it was Stake Conference and it started at 10:00. After church we headed for Cocoa Beach and walked the beach for several hours and Jim took pictures of the birds. Just before dark we returned to our hotel for a relaxing evening. We were up at 6:00am again to start our first day at Disney World. We checked into our Disney Resort Hotel and then met Jenna and headed to Animal Kingdom. They have a cool carved huge tree in the center. We went on a jungle safari and watched a human puppet Nemo musical. Those were my favorites of the day. Jenna spent the morning and early afternoon with us. We visited everything we could in the park before it closed at 5:00 and then we headed for an evening at Magic Kingdom until 8:00. We headed back to our hotel and met Rip's family who had just arrived. Our rooms are right next to each other. Tuesday we went to Epcot with Rip, Leslie, Jenna and Sarah. The high light of rides was Soaring and Test Track but I enjoyed looking around at the different countries. Jim enjoyed taking Sarah's picture with the characters like Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Pooh and Tigger, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto. Wednesday we went to Magic Kingdom and enjoyed the attractions. I like the atmosphere because they were always playing music and had some great shows. Thursday we went to Hollywood Studios with Rip's family and they went on a roller coaster and Tower of Terror without me but I enjoyed the Beauty and the Beast live on stage and Voyage of the Little Mermaid. We park hopped every day but started at a new park every day. Friday we were suppose to fly home but the weather in Denver was really bad so we decided to stay another night. We enjoyed our last day at Disney World and didn't get to our hotel until after midnight. We witnessed Ryan proposed to Danielle during the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Friday night. Danielle had flown in Thursday night so Friday was her first day at Disney World. We flew to Denver Saturday and stayed with Trissa. We went to church with John, Trissa and Gavin and then came with Trissa to work at 2pm. We fly home on the 9:35pm flight and will arrive home around midnight.
