Day in Spokane

Sunday the Family took Dustin back to James' after his interview with President Maruji to become an Elder. We left for Spokane at 8:00pm. We all spent the night at James. Dustin went to work with James. He doesn't start work for an hour after James but that is his transportation until his car gets fixed. Jim took his car to the body shop and they said they could look at it around 1:00pm. Jim and I went to JoAnn's and bought some ribbon for Makayla's dress. We bought purple and pink. Dustin's clothes were laying on the floor so we bought him a laudry basket. At 1:00 they looked at his car and found the parts that need to be replaced. Jim and I went to Spalding to see if they had the parts we needed from a wreck. We were able to get the parts and even a hub cap. We took the parts to the body shop and then picked up William and headed home. We stopped at Costco and WinCo on the way home. We rented a DVD at Redbox(New in Town) and watched it when we got home. It was a nice Monday.

Dustin's car accident

Dustin went to the movie, Transformers, at the IMAX at 11:30pm. That movie is way over 2 hours long. He drove Chelsea to her sister's house in the Valley and then proceeded to James. He fell asleep while driving on the freeway and drifted into the median which woke him up. He pulled over and looked at the damage. He hit his head really hard but other than that he was fine. The car was damaged but he was able to drive it to James'. He got to bed at 4:00am and was woken up by his dad at 6:00am. He needed to be at the church in Colville by 9:30 for his Eagle board of review. James drove him to the diagonal and Jim picked his up there and then brought him home. He quickly dressed and brushed up on his scout oath, law, motto, slogan and Outdoor Code. I drove him to the church for his 9:30 appointment.

Dustin is moving to Spokane

James got Dustin a job at his work in Liberty Lake. Dustin is now a DVR Technician. He works 6am to 3pm. He will move in with James and Audra and carpool to work with James. He will come home this weekend and get his things together. I hope he comes home every weekend.
James called him up Tuesday morning and told him that he had a job and to hurry down to his work. His first day of work went well but he spent a lot of the day on the road. He had to come home for his party but he had to return that night so he would be ready for work early this morning. His car broke down on the way to work yesterday. I had to go to Addy and trade cars. I got stuck with the broken one, oh well at least it was just in Addy. Jim came and fixed the hose that had blown and drove it to the shop for permanent repairs. Today Dustin has Jim's car but that means Jim gets my car and I am stranded at home. His car should be fixed by this weekend.

Dustin's Graduation

Graduation started at 11am Saturday morning. The weather was windy and there was a little rain before the ceremony started. During the valedictorians' speeches the sound of thunder was heard in the distance. The principle decide to stop the ceremony and move it inside. It was about 12:00 and he said we would resume at 1:00pm. Needless to say graduation took way too long. The ceremony was finally over at 2:00. The kids were off to graduation parties of their own and those of their friends. Project Graduation started at 9:00pm at the high school and went until 5:00am. I worked the 10-12pm shift in the kitchen. I also helped set up on Friday afternoon and evening.
