Triathlon Slideshow

Weekend in Utah

Jim and I flew to Salt Lake City Friday morning via Denver. We got to talk to Trissa at the airport. We were delayed in Denver about 45 minutes. We arrived in SLC at 5:00pm. My sister came and picked us up and the airport in my parents car and drove to her husbands work. She went home with him and we took the car to Laura's. We had spaghetti and Texas Toast for dinner. Nikki,Craig's sister, was there and spent the night. They were working on her bike and getting it ready for the race. Jim and I drove to Orem and spent the night at my parents home in Orem. They were in Virginia so we just made ourselves at home. We drove to Jordanelle Saturday morning and arrived around 9:00am. We found Laura in the transition area and wished her good luck. We took pictures when we could and met Craig's parents along the race route. We spent the day with Laura, ending at a ward barbeque they were in charge of. They were both very tired but came early and left late so they could set-up and clean-up. We slept again in Orem. We went to church in our old Orem ward and visited with our friends. We met Laura and Craig at the Brink's for dinner and celebrated Laura's birthday. Monday morning we were up at 5:00am and drove to Lyle's work where we met Lyn and she took us to the airport and returned my parents car to her driveway ready to go and pick up my parents when they return. Audra picked us up at the airport at 2:00pm and we got to spend a little time with the grandkids before we drove home. We had a great weekend.
