Memorial Day Weekend

Laura and Craig flew in Friday night and stayed with James and Audra.
Saturday we met in Coeur d'Alene around 9:30 and played in the park and ate lunch. In the afternoon we went to Kroks, an indoor water park. Only James Micheal and Makayla had fun. We won't go there again. We went back to James' and had a barbecue and watched a movie. Jim drove James' van home with Laura, Craig, James Micheal, Dustin, William and I. James, Audra, Makayla and Evan came up Sunday afternoon. Dustin had his seminary graduation Sunday night.
Monday the boys went fishing at the Bateman's and the girls went to Laura's baby shower at Tabby's. In the afternoon the boys all came to Tabby's and we spent the rest of the day there. Laura and Craig went home with James and Audra and James took them to the airport early Tuesday morning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dustin's Electronic Project

Dustin did a project for electronics this past weekend. He made an audio amplifier.

 

Dustin's Senior Project

Dustin got is chest put together and presented his project to his class on Wednesday. He still needs to varnish the chest before his boards on the 2nd of June.

Laura's Graduation Party

Saturday, Laura invited her family and friends to a barbecue at the Brinck's home. Craig's family was all there and my sister's family came and my parents. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, chips and pop.

Laura's Graduation

Laura graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting last December and has been working at an accounting firm since January. Friday May 8th she walked with her class.

Laura worked for the Uof U while going to school and her boss reserved her a parking place for graduation. He also gave her a lei to wear for graduation.

Dustin and William's Road Trip

Dustin and William drove to Puyallup, WA on Friday, May 8th. They arrived in the early afternoon at Jennifer's house and visited until they needed to prepare for the "Mormon Prom". They went to dinner at one stake center and then to the dance at another stake center. Dustin's date was Kimber.

Saturday Dustin and William went to the park with Dave and Annette's family and enjoyed spending time with Cameron. They went to church on Sunday with them and then drove home.

Dustin's Last Soccer Game

Colville went to Deer Park on Thursday for their last soccer game. The weather was nice for a little while but the rain and wind kicked up and I had to hold an umbrella over Jim so he could continue to take pictures. Colville won the soccer game 4-1. They played really well. So they ended their season with a win.

Last Home Soccer Game

Riverside came to Colville and won 0-2. Dustin was awarded player of the game. They had a senior recognition after the game. The players gave their mom a rose. There was a barbeque after the game at Tyler Davis' house. Jim got his new camera yesterday. He used it today.

 

 

 

Gavin's Blessing

Trissa, John, Gavin and Laura came to visit us this weekend. Gavin was blessed Sunday morning by Jim and assisted by James, Steve and Travis. After our meetings we all gathered at my house. Jill was up this past week and stayed 2 days longer than planned so she could attend the blessing. Jodi and her children came up Saturday and stayed with Tabby. Steve came up Sunday morning. James and family brought Laura up Sunday morning and I brought Trissa, John and Gavin up late Saturday night. Chelsea joined up for our meetings and then came and spent the day with us. We had a great time. Jim and I took Trissa, John and Gavin to James' Sunday night and Laura rode with James and his family. James got up really early Monday and took them to the airport for their 6:30 flight to Denver.

Dustin's Soccer Week

Dustin went to West Valley on Tuesday. It was cold and windy. Jim had meetings in Spokane that day so I went and picked him up and then we went to the game. They lost 0-2. It was so cold that Jim was not able to take very many pictures. It would not have been bad if the wind was not so cold and strong. When they kicked the ball into the wind it came back at them before it hit the ground.

 

 

Thursday Cheney came to Colville. The weather was much nicer. It was hot the first half and then it got cold. The rain waited until after the game.
They lost 0-3.
