Bring in the New Year

The week after Christmas Jeff worked on putting the 2" foam in the ceiling and sealing it. Jordan and Jeffrey helped put in the fiberglass insulation in the ceiling. The weather has been really cold. We are very grateful the insulation is in the ceiling. The temperature on Thursday and Friday were below 0 and the new part of the house stayed just above freezing.
We enjoyed playing video games and eating yummy food. The women crocheted booties, hats, dresses and purses.

Christmas at James'

We spent the day at James.  We had plenty of food and enjoyed playing video games and playing with James Micheal's new Christmas toys.  Dustin called James' at 2:15pm and we got to talk to him for an hour.  We called Trissa and Laura and they got to talk to him via a conference call.  Jordan and Mariah came just before he called and then they went back to Mariah family.

Christmas Morning

We were up early for Christmas morning before packing up Trissa and Gavin and leaving for the airport at 7:00am. We dropped them off at the airport for their 10:00 flight and then went to James' house.

Christmas Eve

We started our Christmas Eve with Pizza and Chicken Enchiladas. Jim helped me make pizza all afternoon. After dinner we went into the living room and Grandpa read the Christmas story out of Luke. Then we opened gifts. We had a lot of dessert to choose from after opening our gifts.

Christmas with Laura's family

Trissa and Gavin arrived early. Jeff's family stayed late in Spokane and picked her up Monday night. They arrive here at 1:30 Tuesday morning. Trissa and Laura had fun together all day Tuesday. Wednesday morning we had Christmas with Laura's family.

William's Mission Call

Saturday afternoon William went to the mailbox and found his mission call envelope. Grandma was at her mailbox at the same time.  She called down the street,"Did you get your call?"  and he answered "yes" and ran as fast as he could home.  He opened the envelope as soon as he reached us.  He is going to the Ogden Utah Mission.  He is really excited.  He enters the MTC in Provo on March 9th (His birthday)
The shaded area is his mission.
